Hamburger Corn Casserole Recipe
This is a good recipe for the crowd. I usually make a double recipe when I have my whole family over for dinner. I like having green beans as a side dish with this casserole.
1 lb. hamburger, browned, drained, chopped
2 tsp. salt
1 onion, chopped
8 oz. pasta
*I use either elbow noodles or rotini noodles
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can whole kernal corn, drained
8 oz. sour cream
4 oz. cheese (if desired)
4-6 slices of bread cubed
1/2 stick butter, melted
Brown hamburger, chop and drain. Salt and pepper hamburger with 1 tsp. salt and a few dashes of pepper. Chop onions and add to hamburger and saute until onions are translucent. While onions are cooking boil water add 1 tsp. salt to water and cook pasta according to package directions. Don't overcook. Drain noodles, Mix hamburger mixture, pasta, soups, corn, cheese, and sour cream together. Place in a casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray. Cube bread and spread over top of casserole drizzle with melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees 30 minutes or until heated thoroughly.
